Heal, Reset, Transform

Nervous System Regulation Coach and Somatic Sound Practitioner

Imagine waking up feeling so safe, supported, and empowered that you could create anything in the world.

What would you Create?

Moving out of Flight, Flight, Freeze, and Shutdown….

Into Safety, Growth, and Expansion!

When the nervous system is regulated, we become like a tree, with our roots firmly planted in the ground, so we can grow and branch out into our most authentic selves.

Hi I’m Tia…

I am passionate about creating a place of safety and support for people who feel overwhelmed and struggle with moving forward with their goals in life.

As a certified trauma-informed nervous system regulation coach, I help people cultivate resilience through trauma-informed coaching, somatic practices, and the healing power of sound. Helping people reconnect with their bodies and creating safety and supportive boundaries. It takes more than just changing negative belief systems to create positive change; we also need to somatically work with the nervous system to create a felt sense of safety. When the nervous system is regulated, truly the sky is the limit!

I have witnessed this firsthand, as I have traversed the landscape of heavy dysregulation and PTSD to finally land in the safety of my own body. It is my honor to be a guide to help support others on this journey as well.

Trauma-Informed Coaching

Trauma-informed coaching is a compassionate and holistic approach to understanding the impact of trauma on a person's life. While not directly working on the trauma, rather understanding how the clients background may have been shaped emotionally, psychologically, and physically by traumatic experiences throughout their life. This approach brings awareness, compassion, and empathy to the coaching process.

Integrating attachment theory and parts work (ISF) into the process creates a deeper understanding of how the client works and what is needed for their support and success.

In creating a titrated action plan to achieve goals, we move at a pace that is supportive of the nervous system while also upholding a safe and compassionate environment where the client is held always in non-judgment and respect.

As past trauma is taken into account, we can also understand how that affects the nervous system. Because the role of our nervous system is to keep us safe, it can strongly interfere with our desire to move forward and achieve our goals and highest potential, as many of those things involve stepping outside our comfort zone and into situations that the nervous system may perceive as threatening.

Taking all of these factors into account, each client will have a personalized coaching plan that creates the ideal environment for their success.

Nervous System Regulation

A regulated nervous system is the foundation of a happy, healthy life. Dysregulation can manifest as anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and physical health issues.

The number-one question our nervous system asks at any given moment is, “Am I safe?” It is working nonstop to keep us alive at all costs, responding to real and perceived threats. Unfortunately, our nervous system can become stuck in a hypervigilant state, responding to perceived threats that are not life-threatening. We need to communicate to our nervous system that we are truly safe by speaking its language, which is somatics. Somatic, meaning being of the body. This is a bottom-up approach where we use tools like breathwork, EFT tapping, bilateral stimulation, and movement to communicate with the body in ways it understands. We can cognitively understand that we are safe, but if we are not speaking the body's language, our nervous system will not respond.

The goal of nervous system regulation tools is to create a strong foundation of safety, enabling you to respond to all of life's challenges with resilience and to fully live the life you dream of from a place of security within yourself.

Sound Healing

Sound healing is an ancient practice utilizing vibrations and frequencies. Sound healing works by engaging the auditory system, which is directly connected to the vagus nerve—a key component of the parasympathetic nervous system responsible for promoting relaxation and recovery.

Sound healing is highly beneficial from a trauma-informed perspective, as it offers gentle, non-invasive support to help shift the nervous system from a state of fight-or-flight to one of rest-and-digest. It can facilitate a reduction in stress hormones, lower heart rate, and promote feelings of safety and peace, all of which are necessary to get the nervous system back into a Ventral Vagal state.

"Sound is the original language of safety," - Dr. Stephen Porges, originator of polyvagal Theory. Auditory cues can significantly influence our feelings of security and well-being. Our nervous system recognizes and responds to cues of safety within sound. Calming sounds such as those created within a sound healing session foster relaxation and improve overall mental health.

Through entrainment, sound waves can influence brain activity, shifting brainwaves from high-frequency states (Beta) to lower-frequency states (Alpha and Theta), which are linked to relaxation and meditation, thereby allowing the whole body to enter a coherent state.

  • I want to express my gratitude to Tia. I had the privilege of working with her in one-on-one life coaching sessions. I really appreciate her energy, which is my number one essential quality. We connected openly, and I felt comfortable sharing my business situation with her. She is an excellent listener, encouraging me to open up more deeply. Working with Tia gave me greater clarity about my next steps in business. Additionally, our session gave me a sense of accountability, which is incredibly important for me. If you ask me whether I recommend Tia, my answer is a resounding YES. I believe you will see results quickly if you pursue coaching with her.
